TEDDY - Child & Historical Child Sexual Abuse Help & Advice Group.

TEDDY was established on the 24th May 2024 by Mark Doye & Gay Melrose. Their biological father Brian John Doye convicted entrenched paedophile, is now serving 28 years in prison for his horrific crimes.

The two founders of TEDDY are both victims themselves of serious historical child sexual abuse. They have teamed up to establish this non-profitable organisation. To raise awareness and encourage a shift in attitudes to victims of child sexual abuse.

Having trustees and volunteers whom are enhanced DBS checked will provide an extra layer of protection for everyone involved. It will help create a safe environment and peace of mind for the individuals and their families who utilise the TEDDY Help Group.

We understand the difficulties of reaching out for help as a victim of child & historical child sexual abuse. Remember reaching out is a sign of strength and there are always people within the TEDDY Help Group, willing to listen and help.

We aim to have qualified professionals working under the umbrella of the TEDDY organisation. As soon as funding allows us to proceed with this.

TEDDY is a non-profitable organisation that will raise funds by sponsorship, donations and fundraising events.

TEDDY is a 100% free organisation, you will never be asked to pay for the help and advice you receive. Voluntary donations, will be always be appreciated. 

We aim to have funds available to help families financially with the burden of costs during the court trial, when the Crown Prosecution Service do not pay expenses.

TEDDY - acronym was formed out of what we experienced at the hands of a paedophile.
