Teddy Help and Advice Group UK Ltd will at times need to record telephone calls, keep voicemail and voice note messages.

To comply with GDPR we will be required to get consent from the caller, which can be done verbally during the call or after receiving a voice message. Explaining the intended purpose of recording and the legitimate reason for recording the conversation that aligns with GDPR principles of transparency, fairness. Personal information will be collected from phone call recordings and voice messages, when it is deemed necessary as to assist you with, advice and support required.   

Anonymous data is information which does not relate to or identify a person. Victims of sexual abuse offences are invited to life long anonymity under Sexual Offences Act (Amendment ) 1992. All personal data rendered will be stored in such a manner that the data subject is not identifiable.

Personal information collected regarding the identity the identity of suspect, of sexual abuse. Again will be stored in such a manner that the data subject is not identifiable, therefore can not damage an ongoing Police investigation.

Personal data will be kept up to date & accurate when necessary. 

Personal information will be processed in a professional manner, data security remains paramount and all information will be securely stored  in compliance with the GDPR  regulations.
